Medical Simulation Skills Institute (MSSI Ghana)

Who We Are

Our Journey

The Medical Simulation Skills Institute (MSSI) was established in 2005 by Johnson & Johnson in conjunction with the West African College of Surgeons and its medical allies. The MSSI was developed as a surgical skills center to be the first training centre outside of the USA to conduct the advanced surgical course in Advanced Trauma Operative Management (ATOM). To date over 92,000 health professionals from varied backgrounds from 13 African Countries have received various lifesaving skills from the institute. This has led to the saving of lives of millions of persons all over.
